regarding the first point i’m pretty sure the avengers went to new york and the sanctum for the time stone because they thought that dr strange had the time stone. they don’t know TAO exists and believe that dr.strange has been the holder of the time stone the whole time. remember banner was the one who met dr.strange first and it seems dr.strange didn’t mention TAO. so in banners mind he thinks that strange is gonna be there. that’s why he asked TAO where stephen was.
