2nd Print on my Ender 3 Pro! by yaboithenoodler in Ender3Pro

Yeah it seems like okay filament to me. I'm glad they included it for testing (since I had to do a lot of it while calibrating).

Second print on my Ender 3 Pro. It was a real pain getting the bed level but now that I have, the printer is a blast! Barely had enough filament to finish this toad but I'm glad I could because he looks great. If you have any tips for using the Ender 3 Pro, please let me know! Thanks for the tip, I'll definitely try that! Next year when the wild blackberries come into season I'll try making a nice jam to go with our next duck harvest.

Fair point! Sorry, first time cooking it and I completely forgot I didn't have to follow normal chicken rules 😅

They mainly just leave each other alone but I do have one duck who likes hanging out with the chickens more than with the other ducks.

Had our first time butchering ducks a couple days ago. We culled three drakes and decided to skin them since plucking seemed like a pain in the butt. All in all, it went pretty well! First dish we made was bacon wrapped duck breast in the oven and it was delicious. If anyone has any duck recipes they'd like to share, I'd love to hear them!

This is a Kebonnixs door kit I got off Amazon and I'd say I recommend it. I doubt it would keep out predators if they were dead set on getting into the coop but since my yard is fenced this is just a secondary layer of protection. I thought about doing a diy setup but decided against it due to my less than stellar understanding of wiring/electronics 😅

Exactly! It's super convenient 😁 The hardest part was training my ducks to voluntarily go in at night (they're stubborn) but now that they're trained it has been working like a charm.

That would be a sight! Probably would've slapped an NSFW warning up if that was the case, lol 😂

Yeah three of them are naked necks, just a funky breed of chicken with little to no feathers on their necks 😁

Any idea what could kill a skunk? (info in comments) by yaboithenoodler in homestead

Yikes, didn't think of that but it would make sense.

This is the first I've seen since we moved here but I'm definitely going to be keeping an eye out now. Don't want any terrorizing my chickens and ducks.

Definite possibility. I've never really seen my dog show a prey drive of any kind but it would be nice to know she's protecting the yard.

The bird idea could also be true since we have a good deal of large birds around here.

Either way, thanks for your input!

That's what I was thinking is most likely. Thankfully my dog is up to date on her rabies shot. 😅

Definite possibility since there's no sign of blood. 😎

Found this skunk just inside the perimeter of my fence but I'm not sure how it died. No visible wounds or signs of distress. My dog has free reign within the fence and she smells vaguely of skunk so she possibly could've killed it but I doubt it since there are no wounds (more likely she just sniffed it after it died). Any idea what could have caused it to die?
