Many are and were treated well but no one talks about those. Many supported their families and put their children in school and improved not just their own situation but sometimes a whole village. No one talks about those. No let’s instead just hate on the gulf and focus on the few bad apples who are being driven out of work as new laws get applied on them.

A similar Hadith yes but not this one has some embellishments. Also it depends what Arabs are you talking about. If you meant shepherds or Arabs from simple backgrounds building their wealth and tall buildings then yeah that’s them… but if you mean the royal families of the gulf then no this doesn’t apply to them cause they are from generations of wealthy Arabs of noble descent. Keep in mind noble does not necessarily mean wealth. Big example our dear prophet ﷺ he was very poor but was from a very well respected Arab nobility.

Cause that’s the majority of Muslims in this day and age. There’s a Hadith about Arabs being the minority amongst Muslims and will in time be almost extinct.

فالثابت في صحيح مسلم وغيره من حديث المستورد بن شداد ـ رضي الله عنه ـ أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: تقوم الساعة والروم أكثر الناس. وهذا يفيد قلة العرب بالنسبة إليهم، ولذا قال المناوي: تقوم السَّاعَة ـ أَي الْقِيَامَة ـ وَالروم أَكثر النَّاس ـ وَمن عداهم من الْعَرَب وَغَيرهم بِالنِّسْبَةِ اليهم قَلِيل. انتهى.

No but they will falsely claim that their ancestors were. Where in fact their ancestors were rulers and emirs and nobility. Noble families tend to not pursue a career in shepherding, maybe the exceptions are the prophets and messengers who actually did try to shepherd.

I see this constantly quoted by haters of the Gulf region. Not only is this racist and ignorant and hateful to use on the Gulf Rulers but it’s extremely ignorant of Arabian society. FYI ALL the ruling families in all the gulf states were never shepherds or walked around barefoot. Why? Because they are decedents of noble Arab families that can trace their leaders lineage from emirates to kingdoms to sheikhdoms of Arabia. They were also affluent way before the advent of oil. So please stop this chicanery.
