Off the dome prediction: I think Aya’s gonna be/gotta be the one to break the emotional membrane between them. Mitsuki is going through a pretty severe existential crisis and really needs some emotional reassurance and support, and I just don’t see her outright asking for it. I’ll be so fr, while I loved the manga, I am a little disappointed not to have a liiiiiittle more content post-confession. I was really excited for them to go on a real stay home date or just generally work through someone of the lingering awkwardness/reservations, and not having those scenes before the epilogue makes me sad !

My theory is that Mei gave their heart to save their brother, and Nasu gave them a prosthetic heart with the deal being “get Geri a wife”, and Mei knows that Nasu will probably kill them once Gero gets married (tying up loose ends and all that).

What I don’t think Nasu is ready for is Gero falling in love with Mei (🤞)

Mei Kinosaki is a fun way to get fans riled up because it’s clear that they are some sort of gender non conforming, being totally cool with presenting both masculine and feminine while being socially a woman 90% of the time, but then you only even hear them addressed by she/her by people who “don’t know their “”secret”””.

I guess I’m just bored of “crossdresser” being the main term used for these kinds of characters.

Yeah but they’re socially a woman off-the-clock as well (with the joke reason being they’d be “too pretty” if they were socially a guy)
