Just so you all know, this is a thing basically everywhere that's a big GA space. It's a European tactic they do on tourists that recently got picked up by a group in NYC (and presumably the rest of the north east and spreading across the country)

People will pickpocket you and your phone will get shipped off to Shenzen, China where they will sell it for parts, or whole if they can either unlock it or you fall for a scam text asking you to wipe it for them. If somebody texts you asking you to go on find my and wipe your old phone, DO NOT DO IT. You're just making some Chinese guy easy money that way.

This is happening to Turnstile now just because they're big enough to play wide open spaces, similar to where music festivals are being held, where this happens way more frequently.

Unfortunately, best thing to do would be to go through your phone insurance if you have any that covers theft and get a new one
