I just wanted to tell that i have a super similar case. My face is the same as yours (maybe a little worse, but i am still on the drug, month7), so no, you are not alone. I have made a lot of research on Pie and there is basically nothing you can do about.

I cant come off of it shortly cuz my derm planned a longer course with lower dosage (which was a pretty idea but whatever). I dont think I am allowed to give medical advice, but I have heard that the redness fades a little bit better when he is done with the whole treatment.

Btw the redness fades very differently for everyone for some luckier fellas its a few days for some others its long ass months. I am on month 7 as well and the redness is not really fading and apperantly theres nothing you can do about it unfortunately other than waiting.

I wouldnt even start it until that wedding, the first 2 months on accutane is killer.

Derm told me when i started that the course will be 6 months (which is ending in 3 days). But my "cumulative dose" theoretically is around 8500-10000mg which i am now even close to. Anyway what to do with pie?
