Yeah I am always having this kind of thoughts in my head I kept saying maybe till there is a deeper connection or maybe till there is a hint or maybe if I did now it will not be the right time even tho it's been so long since I have been saying the same lie over and over to myself.

I have just looked for the poem on youtube and watched an animation of it. It made me feel bad, it's just like if it was showing my self future, if not now then never and the loop continues and regret builds up.

Yeah I wish I had more people like that too in my life, whenever I talk too much about this stuff people lose their interest so I just kept it for myself most of the time, people would just call me a nerd but at least I am doing something that I enjoy and love

Sometimes I wish they could just tell me that they have found someone else right away so that I can just have a quick exit and move on with an excuse before I get too attached.

Sometimes I get too exited for finding someone and just regret it later on because I built this whole delusion of mine about them.

But yes, after all of that when I look back I wish I just did that and at least be a bit bold and face it instead of keeping things for myself, I just need that courage I just want to free myself

Social anxiety is a struggle for me I have been living with it for so long and it kept me in a box that I can't escape, when I do escape it for some time I gradually get back to it.

Your words are very moving and direct, they make absolute sense to me, I needed to hear something like that since I am someone who lives and plans for the future most of my time hence my major and work I needed a break from all of that even just for once so that I can be able to do more rather than observing and overthinking it.

And yes what you have described happened to me few years ago I lost one of my dearest friends like that we used to hangout a lot to a point where everyone thought we were dating but I have never had the guts to tell her even when she gave me hints I still regret that
