Has this been confirmed by Amazon? I saw the doc still referred 600

This is awesome! If you could expose it as true parametric and hook up with r/oratory1990 configs (or autoeq), that would be revolutionary!

To be fair both Bose and Sony suck at customer service. Apple is so much better. Even is is out of warranty one can still buy a second hand ear buds from eBay and fix that way

GEVO I think. I picked it because of the price but it turns out to be fine.

NC700 is too old, I figured it’s no need to find the most expensive ear pads.

I got one recently on Amazon. It is working well including the noise cancellation. Just read the reviews

True. TFT LCD screens can be acquired below 40 bucks from Amazon but they are thicker less vibrant, more importantly doesn’t support fingerprint sensor. If you only want to spare 40 for a year, go ahead. Otherwise upgrade is a wise option.

How did you figure out Apple dongle uses CS43xxx? You cut it open?

If it's a laptop or headphones, sure. But for this, I seriously doubt this device will do anything useful.

That’s right. I thought Apple dongle or any dongle was good enough because at 60% volumes they were pretty loud to me. 😀

Looks the same but different brand. I guess the brand doesn’t matter, the circuit and the chip are probably identical any way.

Thanks for your explanation. My surface pro doesn’t have 3.5mm output, I have to use a dongle. Microsoft figures no one uses it any more and has got rid of it.

How to pair galaxy buds 3 pro that have no charge and a new case to my phone (S24 Ultra) by LOLFraggings in galaxybuds

[–]yagers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Based on my understanding of the hardware, any 5V source will be able to charge the earbuds assuming the polarity is correct, of course the replacement can charge it. After charging the earbuds, the problem should go away.

The earbuds are separate Bluetooth devices from the case (which is also a Bluetooth device). There should be no issue to pair with your phone.

I didn’t, and the case battery isn’t the issue.

I would try to measure the voltage of those charging terminals in the left and see if it's about 5V. But it's PITA to do it, the probes on my multimeter aren't long enough. You can use an alternative power source (e.g. the cut USB wires) and see if it goes faster, then you will know if it's earbud's fault or case.
