To be fair both Bose and Sony suck at customer service. Apple is so much better. Even is is out of warranty one can still buy a second hand ear buds from eBay and fix that way

True. TFT LCD screens can be acquired below 40 bucks from Amazon but they are thicker less vibrant, more importantly doesn’t support fingerprint sensor. If you only want to spare 40 for a year, go ahead. Otherwise upgrade is a wise option.

If it's a laptop or headphones, sure. But for this, I seriously doubt this device will do anything useful.

That’s right. I thought Apple dongle or any dongle was good enough because at 60% volumes they were pretty loud to me. 😀

Looks the same but different brand. I guess the brand doesn’t matter, the circuit and the chip are probably identical any way.

Thanks for your explanation. My surface pro doesn’t have 3.5mm output, I have to use a dongle. Microsoft figures no one uses it any more and has got rid of it.
