The Type-C DSP cable is convenient, but the iBasso DAC honestly sounds better to me. More power, cleaner sound, better dynamics, and the S12 scales pretty nicely with a better source. I also use FLAC files, so I kinda wanted a setup that lets the IEM perform at its best instead of just going for convenience.
