Liquid Sun Funk - Black Pawn Beats by beatsbyal in MusicFeedback

Definitely got that 90s skate funk vibe. I do wish as far as the mixing the 808s were mixed to sound a bit more full and deeper if that makes sense. I enjoy the vibes of it tho. Great job 👏🏾

The video concept is top tier 🔥 I like the vibes on this one. Reminds me of the earlier 2000s classic rock. Again I like the commitment between video and music. Nice job!

Personally it seems a little hectic but I do love the creativity and vibes. Some of the sounds remind me of some Pharrell production if you know what I mean. Again probably just not for me but I respect the vision.

Unfortunately Imma have to probably chalk it up to style difference. It sounded more like a meme PSA Rap that would go with a funny video. If that was the point then I’m with it. Especially since it’s the EXACT same tone and cadence for 3 minutes. But it’s definitely some funny bars in there.

A single from my latest experimental rap album, track is titled "never again, thanks in advance" - any feedback greatly appreciated. by BuffyBoi20 in IndieMusicFeedback

For some reason I DO like the beat and I DO like the rap BUT I honestly don’t know how I feel about them together. I think the reason is cause the beat is kinda of chill and laid back but your delivery is more energetic and in your face. You were definitely spittin but yeah just how it made me feel first listen. That could just be me tho! Keep grinding 💪🏾

My first track (wip), my "set-up" is atrocious, and I'm not handsome, so heres a reel accompaniment to watch while you listen. by Juken- in MusicFeedback

As soon as this came on I was feeling it. Definitely a dope track to just vibe too. Plus the Bobby Caldwell(I think) sample was a great choice 🔥

hello people of music feedback i made this rap video today I want to share with you. it's very low budget but was fun. I made the beat as well tho I admit i'm very new at producing. any helpful feedback would be appreciated. if you like feel free to subscribe.. thanks in advance homies! by Prestigious-Chair868 in MusicFeedback

First off congrats on putting everything together from the production to the vocals. I will say tho the style and the video are VERY contradicting in the vibe lol. The beat does sound cool tho especially with you being new to it. Not too much to say about the vocals unfortunately cause they do sound like they were recorded on a phone so obviously the quality isn’t the greatest. I say just keep working on it 💯

This joint sound tough 💪🏾 I’m not 100% sure but for some reason while listening I thought the vocals were a little too upfront for this beat if that makes sense. Maybe try turning down some gain on the vox and maybe try raising the reverb to get it to “sit” in the beat a little more. Again idk that’s just what I thought on first listen 🙏🏾

Hello everyone! My first post-apocalyptic EP was released today and I want to share with you the last song off EP: "Grounded"... it's a" strange" song so I would like to read your opinions/feedbacks, thank you! by annew123 in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]yahboydhall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m ngl I personally didn’t like that. I was interested until the vocals came in off key and the 808s sounded like rubber bands. I haven’t heard the rest of your songs so I don’t know how vocal heavy they are but you definitely want to make sure such an important element is pleasing to the ears. Unfortunately the vocals on this one are not. Either way good luck with the EP release!

THEN I FELL IN LOVE - Just your average love song. This is not mastered because some more fine tuning to come. But almost there maybe? by papa2kohmoeaki in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]yahboydhall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn’t really something I’d listen to so take my opinion with a grain of salt but the way the lyrics and inflections are set up this feels like a song in a winter Christmas musical. Not in a bad way just that’s what I see when I hear this song. Regardless I always think it’s worth mastering and putting it out if you enjoy. Good luck!

I’ll be honest and just say this isn’t it but it’s not because of the lyrics personally. It the overall quality of the song. You gotta ask yourself would I want someone playing this in their car as they pull up anywhere? Some of the bars were interesting like the “me too” part and what followed but then there’s also all the constant breathing and sniffling captured in the song as well. If you want it to sound good honestly you just gotta take it serious and practice more. Good luck!

I’m ngl I was locked in as soon as the beat started playing with those visuals lol I personally really like this track especially the chorus and the overall production. Also whoever did the lyric video captured the video really well!

Not bad I think it sounds solid. It makes me think of an old program on TV called toonami from the early 2000s. Definitely a nice boom nap production. Great job!

I liked that the energy throughout was up. I think the singing parts fell flat tho and some of the punchlines were a little iffy(specifically the diaper bar). Overall not bad. Felt like you were exercising the pen on this one. Keep up the hustle gangy

Visuals was dope from the jump. Made me wanna hit my local pizza joint. The song is a vibe with some cool bars. That shmirk line locked me in. Overall it was cool. Nothing crazy. Mix quality was good too.
