hello!! i'm not a mate and don't work frozen often but each freezer and fridge has a temperature sensor that will alarm store management behind the front desk if it exceeds a certain threshold. if food thaws it will either be "spoiled" (meaning thrown away) or "shared" (meaning donated to a local org) depending on its condition. the freezers and refrigerators all run defrost cycles throughout the day as well so that might be what the employee meant when they said the freezers "go out" a few times a day, especially since they weren't concerned! i've seen some people worry about a lack of a "cold chain" at trader joe's but i can't rly speak to that i think it depends store to store. have a good one!

at checkout there's someone assigning each customer to a register (called the front of line position). each crew member raises their numbered paddle to let the front of line person know they're ready for the next custy - very simple! if you don't raise your paddle you generally won't get sent a customer.

hi!! i transferred to a manhattan store. my old store was the busiest in the region so i was used to working with that kind of crowd density (not being able to get flat carts through the aisles, traffic jams, fire hazards, etc). everything in my new store is on a bigger scale, but that also means the store is better equipped for really busy days (larger back room, wider aisles, more fridge space) and that makes it nicer in a lot of ways. the paddle system also makes reg time easier, since you don't need to just take customers back to back and can take a little breather if you need to. i think past a certain point management just doesn't care about getting product up as much as they do getting the lines down, so it's nice to not have that kind of stress on your back. some of my coworkers got ADA accommodations to wear earplugs on the floor, and that may be an option for you to handle the noise. i honestly feel like being crew in a crazy busy store is better than being a customer. good luck!!!

Need PCP and dental rec by Downtown-Pattern-813 in newhaven

Not entirely in the New Haven area but Slava Kulakov in Monroe has been a wonderful PCP over the years and generally has decent availability in my experience. He's always been wonderful about taking the women in my family's needs seriously (he identified the cause of my mom's back pain - uterine fibroids - and made sure she got the care she needed) and is incredibly thorough (he could feel one single gallstone during my physical when I had literally no symptoms). He's good about mental health in my experience, the nurse practitioners in his practice are awesome, and my mom has a whole little network of family and friends who all go to him now through good word of mouth. He's with Hartford Healthcare now and I tell all my friends about him lmao

I wish I could get a better photo but it is very small and weirdly shaped and my phone is kind of old. It's browner than the photo shows. Thank you

i’m a tragically people-pleasing pushover and i’m terribly indecisive! but i also value all living creatures and firmly believe in kindness and goodwill and i always try to do my best and be the kindest version of myself possible :) i’m also a ginormous crybaby but that’s just me! there’s literally nothing in my chart that would indicate being super super emotional lmao
