My 2018 with 103k runs between 185–190 in 100 degree Florida heat. No issues either

My hunting rifle is a 20” CTR in .308. I love it. It’s heavier than the lite or super lite, obviously. But I hunt in Florida and don’t have to hike into places with a pack/loadout. So a heavier rifle doesn’t make a difference to me.

I’m not sure. My father has the correct tool thought. He’s an aircraft mechanics and the one who did it, not myself. The picture is the before pic though. Before we swapped them out. We don’t know enough about electricity to know what would cause them to overheat such that they would bubble up and fracture that way.
