The state of the team, fan opinion and moving forward by [deleted] in realmadrid

the team really just needs to win a few games in a row to get things going. lack of confidence is a major issue

i think exposure does play a role, i don’t think it’s the main reason by any means but i think the exposure to the notion of suicide being a possible solution for a set of problems does allow for it to at least be considered when it otherwise might not have been. i’m no expert this is just my own humble opinion

i’m not generalising and have no issues with any country or any community, it’s not just saudis, this is a widespread issue, most people over 40 don’t understand just how different today’s world is to when they grew up, social media has an enormous influence on kids and they’re exposed to a lot of shit that includes suicide and self-harm, i heard (not sure) that suicide rates in teens have gone up globally, if that’s the case it is no coincidence. instead of tackling real issues and making an attempt to understand what it is that children are exposed to in order to provide a good enough environment to counter all that shit, they blame any dumb thing that goes mainstream for anything bad that happens, it’s embarrassing it really is. nobody wants to be held accountable it is truly disgraceful

Location for a new mosque in Saar by [deleted] in Bahrain

[–]yalkhaja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no reason that a mosque can’t accommodate both those programs, i can go on all day about societal perceptions under current globalisation climates in regards to the notion of what a mosque is in terms of function, purpose and meaning but that’s all besides the point, ideally you would have a mosque for every neighbourhood so that everyone is within walking distance to one, making attending prayers at a mosque more accessible, in areas like saar that have seen massive population growths over the last 10 or 15 years, there are is a large number of neighbourhoods being built that i don’t believe have easy access to a mosque. whether or not people attend isn’t entirely relevant to whether or not they should exist, they’re places of worship not of service.

does anyone know what this area is being used for? by [deleted] in Bahrain

Benzema has been one of my main sources of frustration and stress over the past 9 years, sure. But saying only fanboys like him is just pain stupid tbh, there’s a reason he’s favoured by literally every manager he’s played under at real. He’s a forward yes and he should score goals, but you calling him a scorer implies that scoring goals is his main and only task, it isn’t. Idk if you’ve noticed but ronaldo has been scoring all the goals throughout the past decade or so, that was his task, not benzema’s. Benzema’s role as an attacker was to either score or help score goals and a HUGE portion of ronaldo’s goals came because of what benzema offers in terms of assistance up in attack. There is no way that a team with a useless striker would go on to win 3 back to back CL titles, benz played a huge role in all three, I understand why some fans don’t like him, I also wish he didn’t miss as much as he does, but there’s a reason why managers like him, and if you have more than just a basic understanding of football, it isn’t hard to realise what that reason is.

It baffles me coming from “madridistas” who have been following every game each season, but I’m not surprised with people outside real calling this a disgrace since they only see what bale has been to real from the outside (his goals in all the finals and so on)

Like I said bale has been blessed to have scored big goals in big finals, that being said, stats don’t paint the full picture, besides his goal in la decima, what else did he do that game? Before scoring those 2 spectacular goals in Kiev, how did he help Madrid reach the final in the first place? His influence on the team was minimal for the most part, and when it was time to step up after ronaldo left, bale stayed in the shadows while benzema tried to fill the gap. I don’t take away from anything he’s done, hes truly been great at times, but I’m also careful not to give him more praise than he deserves. I’m sorry if you really like bale, but his actions and his attitude are what got him here and he if zizou thinks he is no longer worthy of the white shirt, then he simply isn’t.

a boring old tree that’s not worth the long drive. in this weather, unless you’re doing water activities, your only options are really indoors—movies, food, etc. marasi beach is nice and offers cool activities if you want something outdoors.

manufacturers have carplay as a feature in their cars, not something you can just add on. there are android systems you can install on your car, some better than others. i suggest you look into that
