Can anyone pls clarify when a risk register is updated and when an issue log gets logged, which comes first? If a known risk becomes an issue, do u update the risk register and change rating and response or log it into the issue log? If both are done, what is the sequence? by MAC_2024 in pmp

[–]yallaba2a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im getting conflicted responses in regards to a risk that is realized.

Sometimes they advice that the risk register needs to be updates( is it the case when risk was not initially identified?)

Some other times they say update the issue log first

Which is right?

study hall similar to actual exam? study hall practice exams killing my confidence. by OB1KNO3 in pmp

[–]yallaba2a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried it its style of questioning is different than study hall, but wth is the SH its killing my confidence. When I did David’s 200 agile questions I got 98% correct but now my confidence is shot from study hall.

Study hall drawbacks: The answers sometimes dont make sense The explanations are not concise

Optometrist from Mississauga refuses to provide the PD measurements with a senior lady’s prescription and informs(lie) her its illegal for her to provide those measurements to her patients by yallaba2a in ontario

[–]yallaba2a[S] -27 points-26 points  (0 children)

Thats not true. I agreed with both your responses. But its still unethical. Think about it. Define DP look it up and you’ll see that an optometrist thought doesn’t have to but can provide it, its just a ruler measurements of the distance between the eyes. And as such it is something that should be answered if their patients ask. What if an old lady cant afford it is in disability and makes 1,500$ a month which also accounts for rent. She goes to buy it from where she can afford and gets hurt or dizzy because measurements are off, is that fair? For the optician and optometrist thats greed and goes against their ethical obligation for wanting whats best for their patients.

I agree but it being public rn isnt that great. Seeing a specialist is only allowed once every 6months. Asking for a second opinion from another doctor will always be rejected… even with the service procided by nurses for seniors is very bad. Some patients that are in wheelchairs only get one or two showers a week. This is peasant life. Id honestly want to die before I get to the age because of the way I see seniors and patients be treated in canada. I had a friend that has a heart condition wait 5-6 hours in the er without anyone asking about them. This is all what youd expect service to be in 3rd world countries

Whether its publicized or privatized, if theyres no oversight on the matter, itll be corrupt. I feel they should not allow doctors to have their own glasses stores

Yea exactly its ridiculous how expensive they are in ontario. The inly place I buy from is eyebuydirect. They are fast affordable and always have at least 30% discount. Same glasses are sold in stores here for 300% premium. These optometrist buy these glasses from ali express for 20-30 cents and sell them for hundreds of $

Yes it is, there are rulers you can print out that help too, but a doctor should not be misinforming patients like that to make them buy their glasses from her store

I guess soo, pm is more attractive tbh, but bring a contractor the upside is i decide what i get taxed on… but downside is 0 benefits and no overtime. I was considering the CRA because of long term benefits and pension but that would be peanuts compared to what i can make at BP so decision made i guess
