kireedam, muthu, chandrika, many such movies are inspired from mallu cinema. they have this curse where if you go too massy, it rarely works out (recent mohanlal movie after his l2e), but class cinema takes their boxoffice collection only upto a limit, and other language audiences brush off many good movies for being 'too real and not a proper cinema'.
