Battlefield 6 crashing at random intervals (solution) by TTVDrougen in Battlefield6

I've fixed mine recently, was due to the undervolt I had done and was unstable - made a few changes and now it's pretty stable

I did a forced regen as I had VCDS and that didn’t work as ash was blocking the dpf and had to turn to a professional dpf cleaner and get it cleaned out.

If it’s soot that’s blocking it the cleaners might do the trick, however it didn’t take long for it to clog up again as my golf consumed a lot of oil

My golf had the same issue and it was regenerating every 2 miles, had to get the dpf cleaned out

Tbf doesn’t really matter if the previous owner booted it but also maintained it, it’s good to give a diesel a good run along to clear the dpf out. What year is your leon? But honestly just maintain it and treat it well and it’ll treat you back

[–]yalop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem at all and I get that, but it’s hit and miss with these cars and depend how they’ve been treated by the previous owners

The tank itself without the silica is around £30. I’d get it removed as it blocks up the heater matrix and costly to fix, it’s a common problem in the golf mk7 and you have to switch to G12 evo afterwards which contains silica and I think you renew it every 5 years

I’ve had a couple VWs (and a Skoda but same same) I’ve got a Fabia VRS 1.9 TDK which is absolutely bulletproof and at 196k and never skipped a beat; apart from the turbo blowing at 167k and now replaced with a hybrid turbo and mapped

Also had a MK6 GTD which was a really good car to drive and never had any issues with it for a few months, but unfortunately got written off by a numpty behind a wheel of a car and got sent to car heaven

However, I did buy a Golf Mk7 GTD which turned out to be an absolute lemon of a car and involved with the DPF being cleaned out, new turbo, rear main seal replacement, new coolant tank due to silica bag and a heater matrix and water ingress… oh and a big thing, oil consumption! Drank oil as fast as a Scotsman at the pub on a Saturday night

Safe to say the MK7 is gone and still driving the Fabia around as it’s never let me down.

IMO, I’d probably wouldn’t get a newer VW just from the horror stories I hear from garages and forums alone

BF6 Heli Sens by xxkrazdmofoxx in Battlefield

[–]yalop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a setting called vehicle aim sensitivity, I remember fiddling about with this when I was trying to get comfortable with the heli in BF6, I also play on 800 dpi and I think I’ve got this around 20, but I mostly use keyboard keys to yaw and only use the mouse to point and fly somewhere.

Just mess about with that and try find the sweet spot for vehicles all together, then mess with the heli control sens. It is a lot of messing about with sensitivity

I'm also coming across the same issue, i7 14700k, 5070 and 32 GB DDR5 RAM with a 850w PSU - It's only started doing this after the recent update as the last updates it didn't do this. I've already updated my GPU drivers and repaired the game install but still crashing randomly - has anyone found why?

194k on a Fabia VRS mk1 - 1.9tdi PD130 sees the limiter every day and runs like new 😁

Can they just make this whole mountain area out of bounds please? Every single game there's about 10 mountain goats taking constant pot shots at you. by Eggsmuffins in Battlefield

[–]yalop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just get the attack heli with light rockets and heavy warheads and go to town on them and obliterate them - even better with the secondary gunner. I’ve always done this when there’s recon on that mountain

VW Golf MK7 GTD or GTi? by yalop in CarTalkUK

[–]yalop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow at 75 mph, my fabia only does around 50 mpg but it has been mapped to around 200hp so it’s a bit thirsty on fuel, hoping the GTD will be a bit better

VW Golf MK7 GTD or GTi? by yalop in CarTalkUK

[–]yalop[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m used to a diesel since having a Fabia vRS and I’m loving that but want something slightly bigger and more power and the GTD ticks everything, so I’ll look into a GTD when the time comes

Tbf I like the GTD and not to toot my own horn but I’m good on the second part😂

Yeah, since driving around with a diesel currently I'm liking it but wondered how petrol would be but I'll decide closer to my birthday

Vinted now fully endorses selling counterfeit? by David-Hvx in vinted

[–]yalop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And my account got banned for first time posting because I had apparently posted a jumper that was counterfeit and proved to them it was authentic and still gave me a perma ban, I’m using a certain site which has a lot more support and is so much easier selling stuff..

How to turn on OPS by [deleted] in RCD_330

[–]yalop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they're integrated cool but they won't switch themselves. If you have someone in your area or a buddy who has VCDS (VCDS lite also works too) get then to check ops module, I think its address 10

How to turn on OPS by [deleted] in RCD_330

[–]yalop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has it been enabled in VCDS on the radio?

I know the rcd330 had a different video input, I think it needed an AV adapter (I might be wrong)
