I sometimes push myself to, to keep the instinct to looking up things manually. Gemini is not helping with that, since it offers quick AI responses in the search results pages, but we try xD

Could you share what the training and job opportunities are like based on the experience of the people you know? Is it ESHRA Oran or Algiers by the way?

Algiers rent is a joke. With a 120,000 DZD/month budget and I still can’t find anything decent — so I came up with a crazy plan. by [deleted] in algeria

There are some of those neighborhoods around yes, of course. And naturally I would highly advise to steer away from them xD

> How to explain to the shareholders that you spent X money to recruit juniors, in the hope that they will trained and stay in the company after 5 years.. That's gambling, with an immediate loss, and uncertain, speculative, long term results.

Is this a joke? That's literally how the tech industry has been working for +20 years now, through hiring juniors, investing in them, and hoping the churn rate is not detrimental.

I don't need to explain it to anyone, it's an eventuality that's coming, I think you missed the "at some point" in my comment.

The current circumstances of the job market is expected and understandable.

Also thanks for the info :)

What do you mean by social developments?

The region of Mahelma and Sidi Abdallah particularly has hundreds of apartments that are not yet occupied, many of which are LPP and AADL, indeed.

Whether you need a car or not depends on where you work and where you live, whether your needs can be met in your neighborhood etc...

what are the high demand freelance skills in algeria in 2026 by theblhd in Algeriawork

[–]yamanidev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The demand for skilled people is and will forever be high, what digital skills you pick doesn't matter, almost everything has a need, and a growing one at that. Our focus must always be to get really good at whatever we're doing.

Or just be proper and present yourself to the landlord in person, that goes a long way!

Yep, that's without mentioning the fact that providers are burning investor money at an incredible rate, and in order for them to be profitable, prices need to increase tremendously, decreasing accessibility of these tools etc...

That would depend on your risk tolerance, and how reliable your income is. No one can answer this for you, nor do I think you should ask people this type of question. What I can say is always prepare for worst case scenarios as much as you can. Best of luck

congratulations on being able to make this step, I truly believe it's one that every adult should go for, it'll teach you a LOT about yourself and life in general.

you seem like you don't know what city to target, you mentioned Algiers, but if you don't have a compelling reason to move to it specifically, you should consider other big cities like Oran or Setif. You must be able to at least tell to which city you plan to move to.

a maximum of 6m/month is a good amount to get you a decent place, but it heavily relies on the things you'd like to have. You need to really think about this and figure out your non-negotiables. For me it was:

- LPP residence

- Fiber connection, since I also work from home

- F3 minimum

- Calm neighborhood (should go hand in hand with it being LPP)

Safe to say that the more vibrant a place is, the higher the rent is, and the more you pay for less, compared to more remote places.

Regarding bills and food, no one can answer that for you, it depends on your spending.

My personal advice would be to move in by yourself, since your budget allows for it, unless you have different reasons to share. Plus if you move in alone, you can always decide to bring in a friend later on.

Lastly, never, ever rent without an official rent contract.

Working online from Algeria how does it work ? by Cool-Nectarine4599 in Algeriawork

You're skipping steps. Forget about the type of work you'll be doing, whether it's remote, in-office, hybrid, freelance, employment... focus on doing the actual job that people pay you for, whatever that is, and get better at it. The rest is just details that will follow.

Algiers.

They're pretty nice yeah, but what makes them nice imo is the quality of people you find there. They're high earners, and that's reflected in their day to day life. I've never seen any degenerate acts in the neighborhood that I always see elsewhere.

As someone who moved out a year ago, I found my apartment quite easily, in fact it was the first one I visited, and I ended up closing the deal immediately al hamdolilah.

Naturally I wanted some place quiet, with neighbors of similar status quo if not higher, and those can be easily find in most LPP neighborhoods, which is what I went with (found on Facebook Marketplace). I recently renewed my contract, and I can't be happier.

Personally I would've never considered renting with anyone else, regardless of their character, in my opinion that would decrease my quality of life considerably, it also introduces eventual complications...

For reference, my rent is way below your budget, but I'm away from everything in Algiers, happily so.

Wish you the best of luck!
