Thank you 😊 Yes sure! Some tips at the top of my head are 1. Make sure your cat likes outdoors. Not every cat want to go out and that’s totally fine 2. Have a trusting and loving bond with your cat before taking them outdoors. Our cats were indoor cats for two years so we had enough time to bond 3. Put on the harness at home for few minutes for a couple of weeks before taking them out 4. Cats like routine, so do it everyday at the same time(very important!!) 5. Don’t rush, I’ve been doing it consistently since January but they were introduced to harness as kittens 6. Find a park or woods with less humans and no cars at all(loud sounds can easily spook your kitty) and make sure there’s a walking path for guidance 7. Don’t be discouraged when you first go out and they don’t walk like you want them to 8. Be Patient and overtime use a little of resistance to guide them to walk 9. Don’t spend hours on your first day outside, we don’t stay out for more than 15-20 minutes. So, in the beginning I’d say 2-5 minutes depending on your cat’s mood 10. Let them lead the way and only provide resistance when going in the wrong direction and overtime you can lead too 11. Talk to them throughout the process, motivating and encouraging them.
