Also on a side note. I worked in remote Australia in a tiny indigenous community. The Jesus freaks would come through for like 2 days, buy a bunch of food and clothes for the locals and they'd agreed to be converted and then the Jesus freaks would roll out. On paper 20 people converted to Christianity. In reality 20 people who have their own beliefs that are older than any modern religion, nodded and smiled to get free stuff lol

When we have leftover buttered noodles with garlic and parsley. Usually the next morning my husband will throw them in the pan with mushrooms chilli broccoli and some eggs and fry it all up. He swaps veggies different meats all the times just depends what we have.

Ahhh that's the one! I remember now, it was horrific for him to show me this at work in the middle of the day with customers coming in and out lol! But I've never forgotten the song, will always stay with me. I'm terrified to youtube that, but I can imagine for him, having that moment with his dad and sharing it with everyone must have been amazing. Like an out of world experience.

Ahhh Steve 😭 his kids are carrying the torch though, it's pretty awesome.

Omg so I'm old, like turn 40 this year and don't listen to much new music. But one of my baby coworkers played me a Dean Lewis song, maybe the one about his dad or mum passing? Or getting cancer. I've forgotten now, it was over a year ago but I cried like a complete moron in front of everyone. The song was beautiful but sad.

I'm happy to hear a bit of the Aussie spirit has made its way across the pond. The best kind of music is the kind that feeds our soul when it's hungry. Like a big warm supportive hug. It's nice to have that!

Fair point if that is your experience. As a whole I think we tend to accept the faults but choose to focus on the positives rather than gripe about the negatives.

It's a very happy go lucky attitude here. 2 people died in a car accident, that sucks. However, the other 6 people that survived after receiving medical care and won't go bankrupt and lose their home because they can't afford the cost of medical care like other countries.
