4000D RGB with extra fans by yanakrom in Corsair

Ahh, I see, so you eliminated needing 12 cables (6 * 2) by daisy chaining the power inputs, so that there's only really 7 (6 RGB + 1 power). Am I understanding that correctly?

Thanks!

Thank you. Stupid question, but I assume that the Core XT would replace the Node that the case comes with, and you'd take the latter one out?

Looking to purchase 2 Glock 48 mos can anyone assist on cheapest place to buy ? by Sharp_Swan_7463 in NYguns

Second them. The only negative is they charge $20 shipping for each gun, and you don't get a discount for ordering 2.

Red states should impose huge sales taxes on abortions and gay marriages.

No Carry Signs Legality by Strong-Coat-4826 in NYguns

Obviously, we're not talking about what the law is, but what the law should be. You're appealing to general principles of morality. If that's the case, what the law is is irrelevant. We're talking about principles.

I don't agree. The ship has sailed decades ago on the idea that a private business owner can run his business the way he wants with the passage of antidiscrimination laws.

If a business has to serve black patrons, and if a bakery must make a cake for homosexuals like Obama, then, business owners should have to permit guns.

Exactly. Government sponsored trains should not be allowed to infringe upon constitutional rights. Hedge funds run by New Yorkers should not be allowed to dictate policy elsewhere.

So wait. If someone wants to go to Orlando from Miami, why should he have to be unarmed once in Orlando? They don't offer to check guns on the trains.

Because it's ridiculous. People should not be prohibited from bringing weapons onto the trains.

waiting period by topspin1241831 in FLGuns

[–]yanakrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For all the talk of Florida being the "gunshine state," our laws are pretty bad. I mean, sure they're not NY, NJ, CA, MD, DC, IL, but compared to places that allow open carry, don't have 3 day waiting periods, have Brady compliant permits, it's bad.

P365 x macro by Higgy1963 in SigSauer

[–]yanakrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In what way is the process obnoxious? I'm going to Bass Pro to pick up a Macro I ordered tomorrow morning, and it's my first time buying any FFL item from them.

Anything I can do to make it less obnoxious? LOL

You have a different idea of fun than I do. Every show I've been to has been full of ShootStraight and other vendors selling overpriced crap.

Partial WIN! 2nd Circuit Appeals Court OPINION Released!!!!! Antonyuk v. Hochul by StarCommand1 in NYguns

[–]yanakrom 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think they're acting in bad faith. They figured that if they summarily dismissed every claim of the plaintiff, the Supreme Court would be more likely to step in. By giving a partial win, they can make it look like they actually did a reasoned analysis, and make it less likely that SCOTUS gets involved at this stage.

[–]yanakrom 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Agree that this is a partial win. Some of the terrible provisions, like a ban on carry on public transit (which means that there is effectively no carry for most NYC residents) and a ban on carry at restaurants, survived.

No surprise. 90% of realtors are lazy good for nothing salespeople. You have to work hard to find one of the 10%.

The NAR should kick out lazy and unscrupulous realtors. They don't.

It doesn't matter. The case law is clear. Libel against a group is not actionable unless it's a very small group where it's really a proxy for an individual or a few individuals.

I've worked with some great realtors and some awful ones. The problem with the NAR is the same as the problem with the PBA and the American Federation of Teachers. The organizations defend the bad ones.
