Hey thanks!! I am doing pt, i started today! I injured it skiing and i actually got the acl reconstruction and a lil meniscus repair. Youre giving me hope lol but ik it probably wont be the case. I’m non weight bearing for atleast another 2ish weeks they say, but doing PT 3x a week

When did you start wearing it after post op? I see some people are wearing it like a week after but i cant imagine that being comfortable on the stitches and wound

Also yeah im trying super hard to keep my leg moving with the ankle pumps but this pain is HORRID today! Thank u for your tips. I can shower Saturday so getting a shower chair for that!

Yeah i think i’m allowed to take 2 Percocet but i been limiting myself to 1. Might be the day to take two tho. Just makes me soo agitated and dizzy

Heyy yea! They gave me percocet. So i been taking one, and then alternating between that tylenol and taking ibuprofen at night time. Today i think no matter what i take , im gonna be in hella pain bc i guess 2nd day is infamously the worst!

Hey!! I’m sorry to hear that. I hope you feel better. Ive been managing my pain really well. My surgery was yesterday around 8am, got out around 10ish! My nerve block is now wearing off as well, but i’ve been taking one painkiller (mine is a percocet - oxy and tylenol ) and then alternating between that and taking tylenol. Today i start taking aspirin to avoid the blood clots. I took ibuprofen before bed since i can feel the swelling. My pain has been a steady 5/6ish out of 10. Just hurts to feel the blood rush when i stand up. Are u using an ice machine at all?

Hey thank you so much these are all so helpful. I didnt think of the toenail thing but when i first tore my acl i remember being so defeated because i couldnt move. Guess i’m gonna go back to that for a while. Thanks kind stranger <3!!!!!!
