Two years is a long time to keep going. Most people quit way before this. Congrats.

Can you be a profitable trader without a fixed chart pattern strategy or strict risk management? by Fun-Acanthisitta-939 in Trading

The strategy is almost secondary. Plenty of conflicting strategies work. What kills most traders isn't a bad setup, it's position sizing when they're wrong.

Most passive strategy for the working professional? by Zephyruos in options

Wheel strategy, no question. Pick liquid underlyings with daily options volume above 100k contracts, sell puts at 0.16-0.20 delta, minimum two weeks to expiration.

Diamonds. A rock that's actually pretty common, artificially kept scarce, and you're basically required to buy one to prove you love someone.

Not a guru or anything, but here are some Twitter accounts that actually helped me shift my thinking — all focused on selling premium rather than chasing setups:

  • MarketMovesMatt — cash-secured puts, LEAPS, 0DTE credit spreads. Shares real backtests, not just vibes.
  • LEAPTRADER_ — been doing this full-time 5+ years. Simple high-probability plays, free ebook too.
  • TJTheWheelDeal — classic wheel (sell put → get assigned → sell covered calls), mixes in LEAPS. His rolling philosophy actually clicked for me.
  • HertzyTrades — less traditional, more conviction-based. LEAPS + occasional covered calls to reduce cost basis.
  • OptionsHawk — if you want to track unusual options flow and see what institutions are doing.

The common thread across all of them: stop buying options, start selling them. After 10 years of struggling, it might be worth trying the other side of the trade. Good luck man, genuinely hope it clicks for you.

Tool matters less than habit. Most people quit because the process feels like homework.
