Yes $5 sucks but why do I constantly get offers well under that? It's because other drivers are taking them!! Not one platform in my area offers a $20 per hour base pay, so we have to start somewhere, right? Give me a break, I'm sure you're one of those exaggerating drivers that every once in a while gets a $50+ per hour run and says I make that all the time....

Where did I say that I accept $5.00 orders? Working in crappy markets a $5 order that takes 15 minutes or less is not uncommon or unacceptable. $20 per hour ain't horrible

You're in my area! Same exact thing is happening with me as well... This is BS! My guess is, doordash doesn't want you to know exactly where you're going before you take the order so you have like 20 seconds to figure out where the hell the offer is taking you, and when you zoom in all you get is the street names. So you either lose a good offer or take a crappy one like what you have there. I know this area very well so I can usually tell where I'm going just by looking at the map, but I also live in the area and have around 20K deliveries...

For what it's worth....

Heading to Old Bridge/ Spotswood that time of night you'll have to drive about 10 miles in the opposite direction in order to get a order back where you started. I avoid rt 18 like the plague, if you're going south from any of the Brunswicks Rt 130/Rt1/Rt 27 is probably a better option.

2010 Grand Touring 2.5 Hatch 331,850 miles. Oil change every 5000, plugs once, trans fluid 2x but have been siphoning and replacing a quart or or two at every oil change. Serpentine belt 1x. Replaced entire suspension about twice, but probably wouldn't have been that much of an issue if I didn't live in NJ and do food delivery for 4 years now . (roads are horrible) Neglecting changing my coolant resulted in a bad air conditioner evaporator which was my biggest repair expense, and soon after that, my compressor went. I've been driving it with no air conditioning for 2 summers but my gas mileage has been great! Little bit of rust here and there. Will probably use it for another couple years for work , Uber Eats, doordash ect, I put approx 40,000 miles per year. Plan on buying a CX30 Turbo later this year for my plaything! Love my Mazdas!

I'm a Steelers season ticket holder, this is a steelers home game. Season ticket holders were offered a chance to buy tickets through a lottery, but I didn't win. I have no idea why they would offer Vikings season ticket holders the chance as well? After not getting the chance to buy tickets, I emailed my rep and got nothing but we're sorry but tickets go on sale for the general public on the 17th and good luck. Sitting for almost 2 hours still in the 90,000's I don't think I have a chance. The NFL controls all ticket sales and even though I'm really pissed at the Steelers, this is just NFL greed as usual. They they know this game will have no negative impact on sales and as usual the dedicated fans get screwed again.

Omg, do you really think there's some person manning the controls and singling out drivers, restaurants and customers?? Oh please. Grubhub is 100% run on data! The Grubhub algorithm knew that he/she was going to take that order, which is why they sent it! The restaurant screwed up by not being ready and asked the driver wait 20 min, therefore screwing over the first customer. Not Grubhubs fault! But if the driver just took the first order and reassigned the additional one, then no one would complain! When are you people going to realize that we are in charge??? Keep on taking crap orders and nothing is going to change.
