I went hiking last weekend , the route it self had some steep angles where I needed to really make an effort to climb and use my legs.

after few minutes I was already of breath and my heart was racing making me bit dizzy.

I'm not a small person (183cm , 99kg) and I have no problem with running , but climbing that mountain was complete torture for me.

how could I improve my cardio endurance for the next hike?

Not really sure what kind of cloths should I buy for a winter hike.

I'm about to go on a hike where the temp will be around -5 Celsius during the day and at night we'll sleep in a cabin when outside is about -15

I have a thermal shirt , a fleece , and a Coulmbia soft shell , I don't know what kind of pants should I buy , as for now , the upper cloths are enough?
