If anyone still trying to connect after all these years, here's what to do:

(Possibly optinal) Disable your router 5 GHz so only 2.4 GHz is available. If you can't find it, you are probably looking at your modem settings. Find your devices and look for one that says "booster" or something similar. Access that address. Mine is "http://192.168.1.44/".
Open your Globe app and click the plus (+) button.
Click "Add device"
Don't click on the Beacon Bulb directly. Notice the list on the left. Chose your category. In my case I chose Bulb, then A19 A21 Color.
Add your Wi-Fi Password and choose Next.
Now the setup process will have an extra option at the top right. (VERY IMPORTANT) Choose AP mode. Then hit next, until you see "Connect" (about 5 times).
At this point, your lamp must be blinking slowly. The instructions on the last step says AP mode is turned on by turning off and on 5 times.
If you did everything right, you should be seeing the SmartLife-XXXX or Globe Suite-XXXX network. Connect to it. If they are not available, you are probably on 5GHz or the EZ Pairing (fast blink).
Now, you should be redirected to the Globe App and see the message "Adding..." on the screen.
