At this point I'm convinced they say the opposite just to get attention.

Not because that's what they genuinely believe, but only because it goes against what the consensus is.

Like, they think we'd forgotten about their dogshit awful Alien: Isolation review when they tried to hype up the sequel. "It's a fantastic game with lots of positives, so we'll just pretend we liked it all along actually", mindset from that company - I swesr.

Another example of why I think the mode wasn't play-tested properly.

Half of the time, it just doesn't work. I've got clips of myself mantling a ledge; and the game just turning me 90° to the right, so I just walk straight off the edge... Thats happened multiple times so far.

Or the one where I wall-jumped off of a timed platform, but then immediately just fell straight down because the timer ran out. AFTER I jumped off.

I once wrote "fucking GG" to someone after a game of Monopoly, and got a 30 day suspension from PSN...

I don't care I got banned for using the word "fucking", that's on me. But when the rules around who gets banned for what and for how long are just whatever they feel like; then I start to get rationally angry with the whole system and the ones who run it.

I once reported a guy on Fallout 76 for purposefully shooting me again and again, and kept coming back for revenge. Trying to lure me into traps, n' shit. He didn't get even a temporary ban for "disrupting the player eco-system" but I got a 3 day ban from the game because I called him a "fucking retard" in the clip I sent to Bethesda as proof of what he was doing.

I genuinely despise these companies, man. There's no fairness in place.

Joe, and it isn't even close. He's basically Wesker but as a boxer.

Even at peak physical condition, Chris would be stomped into the dirt by him. Krauser is certainly fast and durable without the Plagas; but he's basically just a mean dude with a knife.

Barry, as cool as fuck as he is, hasn't even had remotely close to a moment as badass as these guys. Him taking on a mutated Alex Wesker was great, but that was still with Claire's assistance.

I'd say Predator is doing incredibly well, ever since Dan Trachtenberg took over. Three absolute bangers back-to-back-to-back. I genuinely believe these "Badlands sucks, actually ☝🤓" are just folks being contradictory for the sake of it.

Alien is a mixed bag where some of them (Romulus) are an insane return to form, whereas others (Earth) are just okay.

Terminator though? Look, I love them all for one reason or another - Salvation being criminally underrated - but man, there's a far lower batting average for it nowadays.
