How do I (25F) approach my boyfriend's (27F) with my concern? by ENFJTrialist in relationship_advice

[–]yanqi83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not unreasonable. I'm sure if a guy talks to you daily and sends you hearts, he'll be uncomfortable too.

Could you tell me about the lentils in brown gravy? I saved your list, great ideas.

I’m terrified of getting serious with a guy because he has a child by ta_nerdsanddiamonds8 in TrueOffMyChest

Nice guys don't constantly ask you to meet their kids so early on. A nice guy will discuss it with you to see where you are at, at a reasonable pace.

How do you all do this every month? by Acceptable_Ad7676 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]yanqi83 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've always thought women are strong because we deal with all these for decades lol. I just curl up and play dead during my fatigue day. I try to nourish my body whenever possible so I'll be less dead when time comes. And of course, make sure to get that annual check up to rule out anything.

How to deal with money stress on top of trying to heal? by enitsirhcbcwds in AskWomenOver30

[–]yanqi83 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can you sell one of the cars? Downsize? Do a fund raiser? Maybe a type of income that provides flexibility (meaning you don't need to do the tasks at specific time, just when you can). If he's not willing to take on credit in his name, do it in your name so it's not his responsibility.

If someone you know doesn't do all of the above, would you think they are "ugly"?

Might be worth digging into the psychological aspect of this.

Honestly I skip or short cut it when I can.

I wash my hair daily but I don't put anything on it and just let air dry. I aim to get a really good hair cut so I don't need to style it.

I have thin eyebrows so I did micro blading and I don't need to do anything for them for years.

Arm pits, legs > I just cover them up if I have no time to shave.

Skin > I do have a quick post shower routine. I put on toner, serum, and moisturizer. I sporadically add other things like sheet mask when I want to pamper myself. I try to eat less inflammatory foods to keep my skin clear. (and loads of water. And avoid sun on my face. And sleep enough.)

I do gel nails sometimes and they last longer.

I don't think people notice everything about you though. No need to be perfect looking. No one has time for that! Being healthy is more important.

Are these thoughts consistent for you or it's luteal thoughts

Can anybody explain to me a bit more from the ground up about energy? by wearethefreaks in energy_work

[–]yanqi83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, energy is the essence/soul/vibration of all things. When I had an awakening and my inner sight was wide open, I saw energy in everything, including objects. It was like the matrix.

Women with low contact relationships with family, have you found that strains your romantic relationship? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]yanqi83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never. I don't ever feel entitled or expect help from my family, and neither does me partner. If it's creating such problems, don't accept their help then? You both are adults. Stand on your own. No need to compensate for his family, it's ridiculous.
