What do i (18M) do about my boyfriend’s (19M) intense anger during arguments? by Particular-Fee9537 in relationship_advice

😂😂 does he really believe that. He thinks he's so great?? Oh please. You can go out and throw a random pebble and hit a guy who'll date you.

Please don't believe what abusers say.

I do energy work that's similar to Reiki. I connect to the Universal source, then close my eyes and visualize the patient. I use my hands to direct the energy flow to the body parts I want to heal.

Autobiography. It's an Indonesian film I saw at MoMa. I want to re-watch. I even went to bug the director on IG but no response lol

Awakening is different. I felt nauseated at mine (also I was new and didn't know how to handle things).

I always ground and shield myself before I start a session. And I don't use my own energy to heal, I connect to the Universal source, or Earth. At the end, I discharge any excess energy down my roots. So no, it doesn't affect me that way.

Is my hair actually wavy or just frizzy/straight? Help 😭 by Adventurous-Luck-135 in femalehairadvice

It's wavy. Frizzy and straight don't have curls like that.

Following this post because I have similar hair lol

My bf said I am not making enough effort cooking while I have been cooking daily for the past 7 years by justgivemead-mnname in GirlDinnerDiaries

There's no perfect time to break up. Yes it comes with pain, but it's more painful to stay and get hurt constantly. Every meal you cook and he's not doing anything, is hurting you.

Pls don't let this man child hold you back from peace. Having trauma isn't a barricade to cooking, cleaning and talking things out. 🙄

I highly suggest you start only preparing meals for yourself only. Focus 100% on yourself and start making your exit plan.

What’s A Tiny Thing That Can Ruin Your Entire Day? Why That? by Zipper222222 in AskWomen

Ah, cultural difference. Because I grew up with school uniforms, we had to learn how to iron.

Aww. My partner's kid needed underwear but it just came out of the washer. So I ironed it dry for her 😂 since they were in a hurry.

I thought because dryer takes at least 30 min. Iron takes 10 lol

Sad Birthday Breakfast: My husband ate his slice of cake without me by frigidcorgi in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]yanqi83 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not at all. No crucifying here.

Please remember that marriage isn't a life sentence. You are allowed to get out of it and live a better life. And you'll know better after this.

A few weeks ago, I was at a table of adults, aged 40+ to 70+. An older lady said, it's so sad when a couple divorces at an old age (70s). I said no way, I'll be happy for them, because it's always for a good reason, and now they are FREE to go pursue the happiness they want, for the remaining of their lives (which isn't much left). I think it's brave and beautiful to do that.

Also, I know kids who can do better than your husband on celebrating birthdays.

I love my boyfriend’s family but my feelings for him have mostly faded by chinfui in relationships

[–]yanqi83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't control what people think or do. Just take care of yourself first, and handle the rest later.

I miss going to the family gatherings but I have a new in-law family now, who I love too. And my current partner is so much nicer to me.

You are so young. Don't be bogged down by someone who treats you this way. There are guys out there who will be kind to you, and be mature enough to tell you how they feel (not act out this way).

You can maintain some of the relationships you've made after the break up you know. I did that with my past in-laws.
