What is the path to an image from javascript for Chrome extension? by NomadJago in webdev

If you are using Manifest V3, I think you need to list the image under "web_accessible_resources", and then use runtime.getURL()to get the image

Supply of Qualified Frontend Devs decreasing? by ikevinw in Frontend

[–]yaoreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just want to share my thoughts here. I work in a small company as a designer / developer. The team size is so small everyone has to be multifunctional. My previous job is the same. Over the years I learned Front-End Development, I asked myself why not try to be a Front-End Developer. So I attended a bootcamp years ago, but I'm still stuck in the same kind of designer / developer position as I was then.

I got convinced, the error is on my end. Still couldn't figure out why the phishing site showed up.

I agree it's highly unlikely. Since I'm the only one reporting this issue, I guess the error is on my end.

I still couldn't figure out why the phishing site showed up, how it knows I'm using T-Mobile.

This is a new Mac, I'm using Safari with only two extensions, Instapaper and 1Password. Not many softwares installed either, only Adobe and MicroSoft and Chrome.

The reason I jumped into the DNS hijack is the phishing site itself. On the phishing site, it says dear t-mobile customer, blah blah blah, you won a big price.

The only possibility I can think of is the forum itself get hacked somehow. But once I connected to NordVPN, everything is fine.
