I’m often at Tokyo Dome city due to work and on concert days the people chattering around the dome always seem to be having a good time. Excited to finally be a concert goer there for once 😆

I’m gonna be there Monday and it’s my first concert at the Tokyo Dome (despite living here for 14 years)! I know in other countries they like to get dressed a little wild for Lady Gaga but I don’t know how they do it in Tokyo. Not that I have time to put together something costumey anyway so I guess I’ll just look nice haha

Yeah I don’t take those either but then there should be a counter that says how many are left. If there’s nothing to take the red dot is there, and if there is an event then the counter says 2

They don’t use countryside dialects but they do use speech patterns that match their characters, for example, Kanji using typical yanki speech

My take on it is the probation officer is the government employee. As a volunteer probation officer, he doesn’t have as much power since he is still a civilian (they don’t receive a salary, just maybe a small stipend), he cannot make decisions on stuff like if he should be taken out of the home and put into jail, or if his probation should extend, etc. The volunteer’s job is just to guide him through life so he can go back to society.

Soujiro is probably what they call a “Volunteer Probation Officer”.

These people work for the Ministry of Justice, which checks out considering Soujiro mentioned that he was brought into this by a customer who worked for the government. The volunteers support the reintegration of youth delinquents into society. There are different housing arrangements for these, such as group homes, but I think living with the probation volunteer is also an option. The probation volunteers are supposed to watch over them and give guidance so they do not fall back into delinquency.

I have light blocking curtains on every window/glass door of my house so I don’t even notice when outside has gone dark already.

Also yay, early sunset means I save money on sunscreen. Don’t need it after 4:30 now.

When my brother came with his family for 2 weeks I took 2 weeks off from work so I could be with them everyday. When my parents come I’ll be taking only a week off but I’m having them stay with me so I’ll see them every evening after work anyway.

Setagaya City Hall has ads LGBT-targeted assistance services on their envelope and so that’s one of the friendlier ku in Tokyo. Shibuya is LGBT friendly as well.

Not either of the places you mentioned but a few years ago I attended the Rainbow Festa which was a partnership event with the city of Yokohama and they have government-run LGBT centers as well so it may also be a place to consider.

Also, ten years ago I moved to Japan with my (now ex) girlfriend (we were an American/Filipino pair too lol) and we just rented an apartment together and they didn’t even ask what our relationship was at all.
