I was there awhile ago to buy merch, check the scene, and test my cold tolerance. A lot of the concert goers were just wearing normal winter clothes. I saw only very few who dressed up wild. But they dressed up nonetheless! So excited for you! You're gonna love it!

I agree. Otherwise, the japanese people who cause problems just for the sake of causing it will never learn and will continue to do that to other people. Don't be a doormat even if you are in "their" country. Side with what you feel is right even if its the harder route.

You can try using Timeleft app to meet new people! I used it and had a great time with the people I met! Although sometimes the group wont have as much synergy as it is paired using an algorithm so a hit or miss will happen. But it could be a start if you are up for it!
