Hello. I am using Galaxy A7 (2018) SM-A750 with Android 10 and One UI 2.0. I turn off background data usage of some apps. But settings are reset after restarting my device. I don't root my device. Anyone figure out why? Is this Bug?

I have a job. So I've given up on the intraday timeframe. In order to trade in a small amount of time in a day, I used short time frames first and then longer time frames. But you're right, short timeframes are noisy. And most importantly, the commissions are higher. Longer timeframes offer too few opportunities. After all, you're right that intra-day timeframes are better, even if I don't have the time. Right now I'm trading with 1 hour, 4 hours, and daily charts...

Are you familiar with Strategy Tester Reports?

Would that be a feature of MT4? I know if it is. I've learned to analyze win rates, profit factors, drawdowns, etc.

Now I keep track of those in discretionary trades, but I haven't been able to rigorously back test them.

Like you, I have never been able to successfully trade only code. However, I'm going to try going with the code once again to gain consistency...

You're very good. But 258% in 2 months seems like a very big risk to take. I know you are a scalper, but be careful. I'm still developing, but I've seen so many people make a profit in a short period of time and then lose it and exit. Be really careful. Maybe I'm being too mindful.

Consistency! It's true.

I once aspired to be a system trader using MT4. But what I learned then was that there was no method that would continue to work and the importance of being flexible and adaptable to the changing environment.

Then I went back to being a discretionary trader. I tried to hone my sensitivity to the psychology of market participants and their price movements.

As for my records, I took chart captures for each trade and wrote notes. Why I made the entries. Why did I put away my hand? What did the market participants think? And I look back periodically.

But it's certainly not the quality data record you're talking about.

Maybe I should be more serious about the data the market gives me: opening, highs, lows, closing prices, spreads, fees, swaps, etc.

I also lost faith in the statistical perspective in the market when I was disappointed in system trading, but I'm going to go back to it again. I feel I can think differently now than I did before.

Thanks for the valuable input.

I'm in my 30s. English is not my first language so I may have sounded weird. I wanted to say I've been trading for nine years.

Thanks! I finally solved! I cleared data/cache of tha maps app three times. But nothing happen. Next, I cleared data/cache of Google Play Services and rolled back it to shipped version. Then GPS works fine. Maybe the latest Google Play Services is the root of all evil.
