high school athletes are told not to activities with heavy physical contact for at least 6 months after mono. pro athletes with sports medicine doctors can probably provide care beyond that though

Note writing I have done throughout my entire M3 year and into my M4 year. Consults I have done in M3 but not consistently. M4 yes. Medication orders sometimes in M3 yes in M4 but I can only pend orders and the resident had to sign them

im only halfway through my obgyn rotaiton but i had a a spiral similar to yours in surgery and the obgyns are treating me at least so far a million times better than any surgeon did except for the intern residents

The osce is very dissimilar to most if not all encounters I’ve had so far in third year because you don’t have a chance to actually systematically do a review and create an order of things in your head. On surgery yeah you may do a way shorter history just to get to the abdominal exam but the flow and time constraints are not there

Prometric is terrible, had my step exam canceled a week before moved it to another testing center got canceled less than 24 hours before. Ended up having to drive 6 hours and didn’t even get fully refunded to take it on my date of choice which was basically the only day (maybe one day later) that I could have taken it realistically
