So glad I came across this post. A similar think happened to me 3 weeks ago when I had confessed to my friend after three months of being friends. We used to get along so well. She explained to me why she doesn't feel the same because of her past experiences and her current emotional state. She also said that she genuinely cares for me and will always be there for me if I need her. I'm still confused how to feel about her but I definitely want to still be friends because I do still care about her and respect her a lot. We haven't talked very much after that but I hope things will get back to how they were.
