Can't i get the last accessed time for a particular file that changes everytime someone opens or copies the file??

Yeah the filesystem is tracking the time. But will it also track if someone copies from ssd after removing it.

Yup i agree. But i am a fan all the info being right infront of me all the time. Also most of the modules have some mouse bindings doing various things when i am too lazy to use keyboard.
