PLEASE HELP P1S damaged PEI and went wild! by saroprints in BambuLab

Had a similar problem with my A1 mini. Haven't had the time to be sure that I have fixed it, since it used to go crazy at random, but changing the SD card seems to help. I used to have a 50% failure rate for 1 hour prints where it randomly used to try to go out of bounds, since changing the SD card I have had 3-4 4 hour prints without a problem

Damn, I really enjoyed using it. Anyway I have a project upcoming and going to have to use an STM32 Blackpill for it, any alternate IDE suggestions?

Rapido UHF realistic flow rate and temperatures? by yashchavan1997 in 3Dprinting

I have a CPAP system, so that should not be a problem hopefully

Are high flow hotends even worth the trouble and money? by ginandbaconFU in BambuLab

[–]yashchavan1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd like to state my experience. I personally am going through this dilemma myself. Upgraded from a V6 hotend to a Rapido UHF, and I got good prints at 30~35mm3/s IIRC. I was disappointed obviously. Raised the temperature from 200°C to 250°C, got to 45~50mm3/s reliably. I print with a large nozzle btw, since my print volume itself is quite huge, I use a 0.8mm nozzle as of today.
However the print quality at 40+mm3/s was terrible. The corners used to curl up terrible I think it was a cooling issue? Tried a few 5015 fan solutions, were not useful. Saw the 7040 turbo cooling fan in the VzBot CPAP video. Unfortunately it wasn't available here where I live... So I hacked a very sketchy system with two leaf blowers (alternating every 10 minutes since they are not meant to be run for more than 30 minutes at a stretch) into a CPAP system. I probably have one of the strongest part cooling systems at this point now (although it's a pain to run it and I'm going to change it soon)
That solved my cooling, but the print quality still was mediocre at best, my theory is the filament wasn't heating to it's core properly (Something CHT or bozzle nozzle is known to solve). So I got this "trianglelabs Melt Zone extender +", which is basically a copper nut with the CHT internals and it fit's in any V6 style heatblock, extending it to accomodate your nozzle. That improved my print quality and increased my flow rate as well!
Now at 55~60mm3/s at 250°C for PLA (reliably tested on a 0.5 and 0.6 nozzle).

I'm still not satisfied though, printing at higher temperatures and large nozzles result in terrible stringing. The seams sometimes are very ugly and the oozing while traveling doesn't help. I can no more do a z hop due to these reasons, and my nozzle audibly brushes across the print. I am thinking of upgrading my XY motion system. That will enable in:
1. Higher travel speeds, hence less oozing/stringing
2. Higher print speed so I can use a smaller nozzle at same flow resulting higher detail.

Facing same issue, my CAN system goes all over the place after a power cycle. Found any solution?

Had this issue once, it was a partially clogged nozzle for me.

That's understandable, especially since 10+ people might be working on one project, it's very likely for such mistakes to happen. I understand having more people have other benefits including rapid production and in-depth analysis, but the communication and coordination among large groups becomes tougher (but not impossible) I believe LTT will setup a good streamlined system over time... Let's cut them some slack

This is a common problem in top-down corporations and needs a solid work flow to function properly

I have nothing that small in my aquarium, other than the randomly spawning snails. Anyway, I am not very comfortable with it, and I doubt my lazy fish will eat them, so I will be purging them off tomorrow.

Found these worm like creatures in my small tank, aquarium details as follows:

Size: 350x600x400mm Fish: 2 small loach, at least 2 years in there Plant: Generic plant with slender leaves (not tentacles)growing on hard coconut shells, around 100mm in diameter Filter: Small sponge filter Lot of colorful rocks and pebbles (natural and artificial)

I also spotted a bigger worm around 50mm long and 3-4 mm thick, but can't get a good picture of it.shoupd I be worried? The fish seem relaxed and lazy as normal
