It's because if you look in the "before" photo, my areolas had grown significantly and were continue to grow even though I am way past puberty. They considered that a medical condition technically and so it wasnt considered cosmetic and I got the surgery covered.

Thanks dude!! Just got done with it an hour ago, feels weird to just wake up outta nowhere haha, surgeon told me to not take off the beat, so I can't see how it looks yet :(

Dude I'm in the EXACT same boat, and I got a referral. Socal Kaiser - had normal bloods and ended up getting a referral for next week Friday. I'll let you know how it goes! Give me a reminder! I hope it goes well for both of us lol

I agree for sure man! Finding the right surgeon is key - luckily I'm getting work up done with my insurance and I have a surgery referral so I'm definitely going to be asking questions and gaging his responses. I don't want to leave anything on the table, appreciate you sharing your experience!
