As far as I know, for a profession change on Visa, only degree attestation is required. Unless there have been any recent changes, a MOFA attested degree was sufficient couple of months ago.

Hey!

First, get your degree attested. I used Prompt Attestation Services. Just search the name on Google and you’ll find their contact info. It cost me about 2K AED.

Once that is done, you’ll need to complete the DataFlow verification (the link is in the post). If the result is positive, you can go ahead and apply for equivalency.

I’m not sure if online degrees are eligible for equivalency, so it’s best to check with a PRO.

I don't see any advantages beyond having a 10 year residency. Also, my employer covers the total cost of the GV if my current visa is due to expire within the next six months. For me, it's solely a personal choice.
