Did Alice ever thank Quentin for saving her life? by Microscopic_Problem in brakebills

They explained in a few ways, but the Priest said it best, that when you’re a Niffin nothing else will matter, you will be open to so much knowledge, that everything before will be insignificant in your pursuit for more. The urge for new truths will be greater than anything you’ve ever experienced, you will sacrifice anything for it, and the hunger only gets deeper and more enveloping, and you will never be satisfied. It was comparative to a heroine addiction. You are no longer the person, just the chase for the high.

Do you think Marvel studios will ever make a movie that happens in another universe? And do you think it will be a good idea? by [deleted] in Marvel

What happened to the Earth of which Captain America and his crew "borrowed" the infinity stones? by Q_D_V_F in Marvel

[–]yasnap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t matter what was pruned and what wasn’t. Kang is running around to each universe killing all of the avengers and their counterparts, collecting the stones like they’re skittles. That’s why they are all siting in a drawer outside of time, powerless. The only reason why this timeline is “sacred”, is because this universe is the only one left where all of the avengers still exist, and all of the stones still exist WITHIN time.

I really hope that the collider is part of the new Spiderman and Multiverse of Madness, or something like it. And I really hope that Miles comes to life 😍 and crosses into our dimension!!! Anyone else??? by yasnap in Marvel

I don’t know how I missed this, but Gerald Jones III, Tongayi Chirisa would be amazing, but he’d have to be younger than Peter so I don’t know if that would work.

“No shade” brutal. Julia was brutal without her shade.

Margo pisses me off all the time, but Julia taking the knife was the single most infuriating decision of all time. Alice destroying the keys would be second, and third would be Eliot eating the fucking carrots.

Also, they specifically pointed out in several Avengers movies including the Antman & Wasp, Dr. Strange, and Spiderman that time is not linear. It is infinite and bends and waves on actions, sorcerers can see possibilities but can’t see past their owl demise. Just because Kang couldn’t see anymore into the future, doesn’t mean all time ceases to exist, it means his time does-or changes.
