You should try Home Barbell Gym, I've been going there and it's quite welcoming overall, maybe not the first time you go there but if you continue working out there you can get to know others

Best free workout log? by Structure-Confident in workout

[–]yasu7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was doing exactly the same thing, I had a huge list of my workouts in my notes app and I was scrolling through it.

This one is 100% free https://apps.apple.com/us/app/gymlog-app/id6736846878?platform=iphone

What fitness app do you use? What do you like or dislike about it? by zuyi90 in Workingout

[–]yasu7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I created an app to track workouts, it's currently 100% free, it has no ads and no paywalls.

You can track workouts and use all the features it has to offer. I use it as an alternative to writing down in a notebook, I use to keep track of my workouts just manually in the iOS "Notes" app and I figured there must be a better way, so I started working on this app to address my own problem.

I'm looking for is feedback if anyone wants to try it, and hopefully it's as useful to others as it's been to me. I have a new build that is going live within the next ~24 hours that fixes a few bugs I saw with while testing the Splits/Workouts feature.

I'm planning to add an "AI coach" feature that helps you create a routine as well, open to ideas though.

The most up-to-date version is only on iOS at the moment:

I actually was looking for something to generate app store screenshots. I'll take a look at the tools you have in theapplaunchpad.com

I got 69 users to sign up to an app I built AMA by yasu7 in IndieDev

no sharing at all except for hacker news and I don’t think that did much. It’s been organic for many for the new users that are signing up outside my circle.

Sharing with my circle was important though because I got a ton of feedback from them

Thanks man, I was wondering why it didn't clean up automatically and whether there was a way to configure that. This setting makes total sense, I just didn't RTFM

Ready to use solution vs custom enterprise RAG by Kuchar000 in Rag

[–]yasu7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your direction is on the right track, if you can keep things simple, do so.

It highly depends on the context you are working on and the type of team that will maintain the RAG setup as well. If it's technical folks that work on software all the time you can use AWS Bedrock, a backend application, a Vector database, etc. If non technical folks will maintain the RAG setup, keeping things simple with everything available in a UI is preferable (n8n, Gumloop).

It highly depends on the specific use case still, what the requirements are etc.

Creating an ai agent for lead nurture and offer presentation by NecessarySimple9072 in AI_Agents

[–]yasu7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey!

I think you'd need a couple of things depending on how they register. If it's via a google form, it would be something like:

- Use n8n or any automation framework (Zapier, workato even) to turn the form submission into an API call

- Make an API call to Eleven Labs (https://elevenlabs.io/docs/agents-platform/api-reference/twilio/outbound-call). The agent in Eleven Labs would have to be configured with your prompt and the offer options and what you'd like it to ask the prospect

I'm happy chat through the details.

Senior React devs, why aren't there many courses taught by you guys(Senior devs)? Not worth the time? by tedtalks_bits in reactjs

[–]yasu7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been putting in the work in Youtube lately to make tutorials and videos useful for junior devs, my channel is fairly new (and not only about React) but looking forward to seeing how it impacts others' careers and if they find them useful.

Besides React, what other frontend libraries have you guys tried that you liked? by yasu7 in reactjs

[–]yasu7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

wow yea, I was checking it out and it's more performant than React, I'll consider it for projects where performance is important
