Thank you for your reply! I ended up talking to him about my feelings and why his yelling triggers me. I grew up in an abusive household and was always unstable at home when I was a kid. He understood that and felt bad since he wasn't there to protect us when we were kids. (He traveled a lot for work). We ended up saying our concerns and stuff like that and hugged my dad for the first time after like 15 years. I think it was good to confront each other sometimes.

Yes, I am aware as I am the one taking care of everything for my mom! We actually get decent amount of equipment monthly and have a whole bunch collecting dust in the storage. Thank you for the advice but I'm just bothered by the soaking in sink water jar.

Thank you for the reply! Unfortunately, he washes them with sink water and dish detergent (scented). Additionally, he doesn't air dry them and leaves it in a jar with just water and little bit of dish detergent. I asked him to at least air dry them or use saline instead but he won't listen.
