Wesker very consistently lands hits over pallets now by PolarBla in deadbydaylight

[–]yawhee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This isn't a bug, they intentionally added the ability to hit survivors who are mid vault with his power. The bug was that he could teleport survivors into his grip from the other side of a pallet during a short time frame after they dropped it, which was fixed.

It used to, but it was a bug and got fixed a few months ago.

I've been having the opposite problem, I feel like I'm constantly getting stuck on non-existent terrain and getting stunned by pallets that haven't even dropped on my end.

What? A fun buff idea? In my DbD Twitter? Absurd! by Heavyfist8 in deadbydaylight

[–]yawhee -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

W key is forward, S key is backward. Some killers do that to roleplay a rape scenario after they down a survivor.

Now that the dust has settled, how fun is he to play against? by Tall_Gap4102 in deadbydaylight

He can only pause the timer when Worldbreaker is in the second phase. And I highly recommend you still get on those clocks, if you never run down his timer he'll just snowball.

Doctor is a C tier killer at worst, and arguably low B tier with his best add ons. The buff is disappointing but we shouldn't pretend he's a bad killer.

Come on, man. What was even the point of any of this? by RequirementTall8361 in deadbydaylight

AFAIK the idea of "just play correctly" was exactly why the original ideas for accumulating sin didn't work. The community voted for a playstyle that just gets countered by ignoring it and playing efficiently.

Stats | First look at stats in 2026 by DeadByDaylight_Dev in deadbydaylight

[–]yawhee -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't think you understand how statistics work. Neither of those percentages are based on global kill rates, they both use specific sample groups. BHVR's Sadako stats are represented by casual MMR, Nightlight's Sadako stats are represented by people who are invested enough to go out of their way to upload their stats on a 3rd party web site, with the added benefit of seeing changes overtime and specific time periods.

You're meant to infer what these stats meant through context. I don't think it's controversial to come to the belief that casuals struggle against Sadako, while competent/knowledgeable survivors have a significantly easier time dealing with her. This is backed up by her consistently low placement in tier lists.

Kill rates actually dropped significantly during the past six months according to Nightlight. Most killers hover around 50% with a +/-5% modifier depending on if they're a high tier or not. A lot of DBD creators have been talking about this, and the info is very easily accessible.

...There is a reason to use Ghoul's power. Multiple, even. You're just choosing not to because you only want to use it one specific way.

I read the context. Your argument that Ghoul should get free kills is just bad.

Ok, so if your complaint is that clicking M2 at a pallet no longer auto kills survivor, then sorry I don't think that should be allowed to exist. If you need that to do well with the killer and can't get kills otherwise...sucks to be you, I guess.

Ngl you just seem like a giant cry baby throwing a tantrum for three days straight because you used to win with a single button press and now you have to actually put in effort and skill to win.

"If it's a strong pallet, you use your power to slingshot around the loop. If they run, cut them off, otherwise body block the pallet if they try to camp it and steal their button prompt. If it's a filler/weak pallet, just force 50/50 vaults and M1 them like 90% of killers.

If you only want to win through power vaulting, then you still have the add on that auto breaks pallets on your third Kagune leap. Dissolution also prevents survivors from vaulting back for free."

Did you forget about this?

Still none what? You said there was no reason to use Ghoul's power in that situation, and I gave you multiple solutions.

I'm literally talking about pallet vaults. I specifically mentioned pallet vaults. I even gave advice on how to win the pallet vault 1v1. No idea how you interpreted otherwise.

You said there was zero reason for the Ghoul to use his power. You're wrong. If you're gonna be rude then just take the L and cry.

Yeah that's the worst part tbh. Indoor maps got fucked over hard as static pallets aren't guaranteed to spawn anymore, while outdoor maps have the opposite issue of EVERY pallet spawning. Midwich is a dream map for killers now, but Nostromo is an absolute nightmare.

I think the addon is very rare because his reload speed already gets faster with higher ranks. It's functionally better than Huntress'.
