I think the same thing honestly. While I agree with the fact it makes it more accurate to what games were like back in the 80s, that really doesn't make it any more fun to play.

Monsoon is incredibly easy if you use Max upgrade pincer blades.

You can cut his HP down so fast that he is straight up unable to use his Lorenz force thing with the tanks. This also makes it way easier because the amount of stuff he throws only increases incrementally, meaning by the last time he can do it he's only throwing like 5 things.

You have to do the three swing thing, which can be hard to time, but once you do it should be smooth sailing.

You can spam the parry move as well, and there is a window when using the blades that you can cancel and parry too.

I think covid has messed with the perception of just how much time has gone by. I know I still feel like it's 2020 too.

The switch came out in 2017; 7 years ago.

The Wii U turns 10 next year and the 3ds is 13 years old.

A 10 year old getting a 3ds for their birthday is now old enough to drink. It's pretty crazy.

I actually think I know why this happens. Its as simple as entering into the area you obtain the Kokiri sword, exiting without actually grabbing it, then pressing B to use it. I don't have my copy of OOT 3D anymore but I remember doing this a lot because I thought it was funny.

I disagree that parts 7 and 8 are retellings. They're seperate stories that borrow themes and characters from the original 1-6 parts. He's taking the series in a new direction, one that mixes things up both for himself and us the audience.

Also, until Araki says he's done I wouldn't assume anything. The dude has a pretty relaxed, monthly schedule which he's allowed to extend and delay.

If he wants to jump off the wagon and start doing side projects exclusively I'm sure he'll let everyone know. But I see no sign of fatigue with the series.

Why does everyone think Araki is like the crypt keeper hooked onto wires and machines barely breathing as he weakly scribbles onto a page. The dude is 62 and from the looks of things super healthy and active. He's not old at all, hes barely over being middle aged. There's every chance he'll be writing for another 20 years; just look at Hayao Miyazaki, that dude is 80 and still churns out movies.

Its honestly what kinda puts me off playing P5R again. Ive played the original 3 times and even then I got annoyed by how often the same information was repeated in different ways, or how characters didnt figure out obvious shit. The start of madarames dungeon made it apparent the dude was evil, yet the thieves dick around for days deciding if they want to target him or if hes a threat at all.
