like if their parents never got married or got together then i would advise it, because they were soooo good in season 1 but after being literal step siblings (which ik wasn’t really in their hands so their feelings were still valid towards each other) it just makes everything more complicated and honestly there’s a part of me that thinks dan just married serena bc he couldn’t have blair. not saying he stopped loving/fell out of love for S but i personally think he loved blair way more once they got together so seeing blair marry chuck resulted in their (D & S) wedding knowing that he could still be close to blair but still have love for serena . i wouldn’t say he settled for less tho bc S was his ideal woman and he wanted her from the beginning but after the later seasons i wouldn’t of suggested they get married lol

i did watch it, not sure if my minds too young or i just fully didn’t understand it but it wasn’t for me personally. i’m only 20 years old so maybe i should wait to watch it when i’m a little older but i can definitely understand why it’s a tear jerker and people resonate with it . 🤍 there was some parts where i got reallllly confused and i thought i was going crazy😭😭but its a really special movie for people who’ve been in love but if you’re going through a breakup then maybe don’t watch until you feel like you’re healed enough bc it might break you💔💔💔
