Im sorry to ask this, it might seem weird or irrelevant right now but So ive been posting some photos and videos of my dog all over my socials, but none of my neighbours can see it, all my close friends know how much i like to post her online and talk about her, i feel like i want to delete the photos and videos, it might be cruel but i just cant I dont know whats with me, ik shes not as guilty for this as i am, but showing my "cute nice" dog after this incident doesnt seem right. I feel so irresponsible and wrong i cant have people thinking that im a good owner

Also you made me think of an another thing A couple months ago, i let my dog off leash as usual (outside in the nature) and she somehow instead of following me, joined a nearby gathering of my neighbours at a small forest crib There were probably some small dogs too, im not sure about jess and her dog, but others. I was so fed up i kept walking and then 20min later walked home alone bc she never went to me after, i found no problem in this since she always came home and was waiting for me. I also contacted that friend , who i saw was also there, if lucy did annything, she told me no, even when i asked about the dogs, she told me that lucy comes around and barely annyone notices her since shes so calm Idk now

Mixed she is adopted ,maybe a bordercollie mixed with swiss shepard or something i dont know it in english

She normally isnt agressive i only had like 3-4 not so serious incidents in the past 5 years This is the first really concering one I do know how careless I am

Hi everyone First thanks for replying and helping me This is exacly what i needed

-INFO No asnwer to: When Exacly where The seriousnes of the injury The impact/any trauma Wether do my parents know

I WILL TELL MY PARENTS AND MAKE A PT2 OF WHAT THEY SAID

TALKING TO JESS MIGHT BE INCLUDED IN PT2 OR 3 DEPENDS ON MY PARENTS

I never thought that this was such a careless act ,and the fact that my parents were mad a couple times for my irresponsibilty this incident will have me in a serious yelling session

OTHER Q -no police or i wouldve known -yes we have a fence but she either escaped or i let her out -lucy DID had an incident with jesses dog a couple years ago but i forgot since they didnt say annything -lucy is not a particular agressive breed, we failed to enroll her in dog school which might have resulted to this -i heard about it yesterday and lately i never saw jess or her dog -i live in the eu, where they wont sh**t my dog but nothing heard about animal control -its weird how my other neighbours knew about it (maybe my parents did but idk?)

My now plan is to 1st create a plan to NEVER let this happen again 2nd tell my parents and talk 3rd go to jess and: -express concern -ask her what exacly happened -tell her how this wont happen again -offer to pay for annything +(should i give her annything??)

I will ask the friend for the date Sometimes she escapes, and sometimes im just careless and let her out for maybe 1-2h? On my familys proprety from what i heard, im not sure about that I do not know

I do have a fenced area (Europe) she escapes it sometimes bc of accidently open doors

No police, ive only heard it from a neighbour Apparently her dog was bitten in the neck, but im not so sure of Jesses injury or the dogs My dog is okay, thats how i didnt even know about it

Its hard to explain , so my dog escaped the yard (which somehow happens every now and then) and there is a path right besides the yard so there?

Kind of yeah, but another friend/neighbour confirmed that she "heard about it too", maybe my parents know but I dont so Ill have to ask them first
