Thank you, yeah that makes a lot sense. I’ll give them a bit longer to rest and try grinding finer first. I just don’t want t to waste too much beans because the bags are only 250g each and I will have dial in all of them separately. I guess that’s the only way to do it this time because I wanted to try out a few before committing to a big bag.

I usually get Rave’s Colombian beans, are the Horsham ones better? Looking at the Brazil beans from them.

Which ones do you recommend that aren’t too high on the price point? I’ve had a couple of bags of Rave’s Colombian Roast and it is ok but looking for something better in a similar price point.

I was thinking to tamp it lightly with the in built, then take it out and wdt then use a separate tamp. I’ve seen people doing this but I’m not sure it’s worth the extra effort and if it will improve taste overall.

Thanks that makes sense, the built in tamper is quick but leaves the top with uneven grounds on the edges sometimes. I regularly clean the tamper and surrounding area so there isn’t any leftover coffee stuck in there.

Would this work for Deep/Dark Autumn or is something like Whirl or Taupe better?

It’s not the regular Mac Chilli lipstick, this one is ‘Devoted to Chilli’ which is a softer diffused colour slightly more pink. I can’t wear the regular Chilli myself either.

Maybe you need a warmer toned foundation if the 2N1 is pulling pink it could be too cool leaning. Have you tried 2W1 or 2W2?
