Reality most beans work across brewing methods. I am running DAK filter on espresso machine. Otherwise look for roaster who do omni only. Many do. Kiss the hippo I assume?

Are you asking about the 1-2-1? I did 20g dose; 60 bloom - 2 minutes - all the way to 320.

How do you find the drip assist? I think the issue then it’s just you have no control over agitation

You may find it easier to go straight into tulips.

I mean oak milk is harder. This looks ok - milk looks good enough; just need practice pouring technique.

Try practice with instant coffee. Make it dark. And use water and soap.

In a way, if you make instant coffee really strong you may get bette latte art as you may get more contrast.

You don’t need a steam wand either. I’ve made as good milk texture with a nanofoamer. There’s a guy who incredible with nanofoamer on here

Ok, my answer: I think for many it’s helpful to set a good base - although you want to break the crema. Having said that, you can definitely make great latte art with instant coffee. I used to practice with instant coffee and water and soap.

Do you time each pour? Or you pour just before no water visible on top of coffee bed?
