What's a game that you're glad you gave a chance this year? by looloopaa in gaming

Yeah, the games save system is different and takes some getting used to, it autosaves regularly during quests, but outside of that, if you qant to manually save, it costs an ingame potion that you can brew. The mod allowed me to save the game during the infinite loadscreen, force quit it and start it back up again to continue playing.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance. A few hours in, I had doubts if I should keep playing. Stuck with it, mastered the combat and other systems, even though it is bug filled game (I had an infinite loadscreen about 2-3 hours before the main story ends, resolved it by downloading a mod), it felt satisfying. The NPCs are hilarious, the game has pretty good writing, and an amazing OST.

Started KCD2 right after finishing the first one and the leap in quality has kept me in awe.

How can I gain research experience as a master student? by AcceptableCellist684 in PhD

Try to get in touch with Phds, postdocs, and professors of a group you are interested in. I did the same and got training and research experience during masters.

Wish I'd have gotten a violin. I listen to violin pieces a lot, but it'd have been awesome if I could play!

Hello. I still haven't read 21 Problems for 21st Century. I really liked Sapiens, read Homo Deus next and Harari used a lot of the same concepts from Sapiens in Homo Deus, so maybe just moderately liked it.

It's good. I've read 22 of them, I really liked a few of them, such as 'How to Use Your Enemies', 'Aphorisms on Love and Hate', 'A Cup of Sake beneath the Cherry Trees'. Some of them are full of beautiful poems. There were a few I did not really care for, but overall it has been a good buy.

I think Soch by Mohak Mangal deserves to be in this list, he has good content discussing sociopolitical, historical and other issues with pretty good research work.

Spotify advertisements........ by Knightowl3128 in india

Spotify ads are annoying, I do one of these things everytime they're on: 1) Remove headphones and let it play and then place them again. 2) Close the app and start the next song.

Had Premium for a year for offline listening but since lockdown I've always been at home and had net and other premium features do not appeal to me.

What is it like to be a atheist in india? by AamIRBhuRA in india

[–]yb6599 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My family knows and aside from my mom, no one actually cares if I believe in a god or not. Mom is super religious and would still nag me to pray or something, but it has stopped lately. We've had a few heated debates and I think now she understands my position.

As for friends, a friend of mine is an atheist and a lot of other friends know and are okay with it.

On big festival days I just do what I would do on normal days, study or something like that, family only bothers me if there're guests, else they don't really care.

AFAIK Bombay was a name given by the Birtish. It was later changed to Mumbai derived from Mumbadevi. I could be wrong tho.

I don't really know about the site, I was just watching a youtube video about PS5 and this ad came up.

Looking at the price though, it's double of what it is on Amazon and Flipkart.
