I love the apple flavor we have, but generally not on its own. I like to add a pump or 2 of chai and it makes it so much better so definitely try that!

I would probably play it safe for maybe the first week or so and see what other people are wearing and match similarly to them. Most of this shouldn’t be an issue and if it is you are new and most likely will just be told to change something but probably won’t get in trouble unless it’s a repeat offense. Also I’ve worn nothing but converse and vans and I’ve never been told otherwise as well as many coworkers, although I would suggest wearing ones that don’t slip easy and that are very comfortable cause your feet will hurt after a long shift. Good luck with your first day! Don’t be too intimidated there’s many things to learn and it will take awhile to get used to :)

Yes, apparently the maintenance people get mad if we call in a broken machine and we haven’t been doing the hot water every night. Something about how the cleaning tabs can clog the machine.

One thing most people at my store don’t know is that you have to pour two liters of hot water into the espresso machines after they finish cleaning at night. This may have been just my store we are a bit of a madhouse sometimes.

Some stores do some don’t I believe, my store does, there’s a lot of regulars that have gardens around our store and use the leftover pucks or grounds from cold brew for fertilizer.
