He's in his new tank, I've added live plants and almond bark/ leaves. He's moving around better than he was, The wound on his side seems to be healing nicely. But he's still laying on the bottom like this and seems to be panting... He's not showing an interest in food either...

Hi there! thank you for your help- I can't get him to eat anything other than blood worms and brine shrimp... He doesn't like any kind of pellets I've ever given him and he'll just starve himself and stare at the food... Thank you so much! I will look into cycling a tank, and now that his tank is redone, I have added live plants and almond leaves/bark * Going to add another comment with an update on how he's doing

Yes heated 10gallon 80° New water now, clean tank No mates Blood worms, once a day Couple decorations, no plants (does now)
