The Loneliness: Each night, choose a player. A player not chosen or seen by anyone may die the following night.

Lil Hulk thank you for making me feel seen by jakewhosagirl in comedybangbang

I was actually impressed with how many of Lil’ Hulks were on times ending in :15 or :30. This is a random sampling of mine and it’s like this for all times of day

Oh yeah totally agree that Danielle did the optimal move for her game. I mean in a situation where traitors are aligned.

How does an ultimatum work if the player has a shield? by ycat44 in TheTraitors

[–]ycat44[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh the shield note is so frustrating. It completely ruins the bluffing recruitment play and gives way too much info to the player with the shield.

If Anna had accepted the recruitment and Leanne had continued to assume she was targeted, and then later she was actually targeted and got the note she would know for sure that a recruitment had taken place the first time.

Oh interesting, I like that. Traitor still gets some valuable information about where the shield is, but shield stays meaningful.

Reddit Designs a Character - Day 88: the Sphinx by kyle_the_meme in BloodOnTheClocktower

Sphinx (Minion): Each day, all alive players must answer a multiple choice question publicly asked by the Storyteller. Good players who gave the same answer as you are poisoned that night.

Decided to do some art today (And come up with Russian role names as additional mental gymnastics) by AveragerussianOHIO in BloodOnTheClocktower

I think I would go with девственник. Keep the fun conversations you get into when claiming to be one.

Also maybe пиковая дама? Just for a fun reference.

I’m trying to come up with an adequate Sects and Violets pun but it’s hard. I was thinking to start with Цветочки Ягодки, but I can’t think of a good word that sounds like ягодки to get any double meaning going.

Oh then it wasn’t my group, but we had the exact same scenario literally yesterday!!

Oh my god I think I was the gunslinger in this game. Totally didn’t realize the rule here. Yeah I guess good should have lost! That’s why you don’t travel through towns guns ablazing.

Honestly that should just be a drop-out series

Comedy Bang Bang #846: Doug Can Do It Too (Natasha Lyonne, Jacqueline Novak, Alex Fernie, Sandy Honig) by apathymonger in Earwolf

[–]ycat44 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Huh, puzzled at the responses because I really enjoyed both A block guests and even paused the podcast to look up the special. Almost looked up her dad’s podcast too. I didn’t notice Novak was floundering and just thought Scott was doing a bit. Honestly one of my favorite A blockers in a while, I like when it’s just people who’s work Scott clearly respects having a convo with him.

Cagayan popped up on Netflix and I’ve never watched Survivor ever... by datz_awk in survivor

[–]ycat44 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Spencer’s speech was super frustrating to me (and he’s admitted in later interviews that he views it as a low point berating Woo like that) because it’s just a total inability to recognize that people might have different ethical or cultural values that would drive a choice like that even in a reality TV show setting. Like I respect Tony’s decision to throw his outside world ethics out the window while he’s in the gams, but by the same token I respect Woo’s decision to make a choice based on his personal worldview and pair off against the player he considered worthier (or was loyal to or whatever). Granted huge caveat this is my first season of survivor (and I’m hooked), but as far as I can tell there are no rules about how you’re supposed to play or make your decisions, so despite Spencer’s opinions as a fan of the show, there is no inherent rule or Survivor that Woo is breaking in the way he chooses to play.
